Taking periodic physical counts is a basic and necessary step in inventory management. Automatic Identification (primarily Barcode) and Wireless Communications (primarily Batch) can increase accuracy and decrease downtime associated with periodic inventory counts. Database Software Application programs exist to help you track basic inventory information such as location, cost, etc. and facilitate the transfer of data from Wireless Batch Devices.
